Today was a wonderful, marvelous day!!! It was icy here in Ohio. I worked from home and most of my co-workers had the same idea. No problems, as all of my meetings could be done via teleconference. I had a big Requirements Document to review so it was good to have the quiet.
I hit a deer on my way to work 3 weeks ago and just got my wonderful little Accord back yesterday .. all nice and shiny. :-) Deer and driver were unscathed from the accident, but there was no way I was driving my car in icy conditions the DAY AFTER I got it back from the shop. No sense in tempting fate!!!!
No school so Emily and Aaron spent the day here playing video games and playing on the computer. It was just wonderful to spend the day working, drinking my samurai chai tea and having Em and Aaron just hang around.
Emily is still on a high from getting her acceptance from Miami U. yesterday. This was her first choice!! and of course since it is my alma mater I am thrilled as well. She already knows what day classes start and asked me at least 2x about completing the FAFSA for her. She jis so cute.
Then.... to top it all off, Glee's theme was Rocky Horror!! My Fave!! A rerun but I hadn't seen it, I loved singing along. The kids got a good laugh!!
I found a couple of new art sites/blogs to follow. They are Artsyville and Dirty Footprints studio. Seem like a different group of people than I have been exposed to lately.
Decided my word for the year is CHANGE!!!

Been working on a couple quick drawings and will post pics later this week.
Looks like tomorrow will be icy again so .... work from home yet another day.
